Raising awareness on sustainable plant nutrition requires us to inform on important scientific milestones in accessible language. Many scientific discoveries were made over 200 years ago and became relevant many years later, while some discoveries have immediate value. In our Science Corner, we present new and old publications on nutrients, their forms and behaviours in soils, plants, and the wider environment for anyone interested in learning about this field. Our aim is not only to educate, but also to question norms and offer innovative solutions. Hence, comments, critical feedback, and open discussions are encouraged and well-received.
