Meet the SPRPN panel members

The Scientific Panel on Responsible Plant Nutrition aims to inform on sustainable nutrition practices for plants. As active researchers in the field, we synthesize scientific evidence, discuss controversial issues, and advice on research, outreach and policy needs. We aim to make scientific knowledge accessible to inform consumers, food producers, traders and retailers, as well as policymakers.

We also select the winners of the annual Norman Borlaug Award for their excellence in crop nutrition research or outreach. This price is sponsored by IFA, the International Fertilizer Association.

As an independent scientific panel, its members serve in a personal capacity with IFA providing logistical and financial support for the Panel’s activities. Opinions expressed in our publications do not necessarily reflect the position of all Panel members or the organizations that employ them.
